TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4)
TB-500 corresponds to the active segment of thymosin beta-4, a peptide naturally present in almost all animal cells, where it acts as the main sequestering agent for actin monomers. By controlling actin polymerisation, the peptide influences cell motility — the mechanism by which cells travel toward injury sites during regeneration. In preclinical research, TB-500 is studied in models of cell migration, vascularisation and extracellular-matrix remodelling, with experimental applications in muscle, corneal and cardiac-tissue biology. The high-purity lyophilized format is intended for in vitro protocols and animal-model studies. For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
